- Tap the button the moment a note reaches the line. Notes in your color are yours; notes in your partner's color are theirs.
- Heart notes are for both of you! Tap within 0.07 seconds of each other for a sync bonus.
- The more precise, the more points for Perfect, Good and OK, and a run without misses builds a combo bonus.
- A song lasts about 1.5 minutes. Play it to the end together for an S, A, B or C grade by accuracy.

How do you score in One Beat?
Tap the moment a note reaches the line for Perfect, Good or OK points. A run without misses adds a combo bonus, and tapping a heart note within 0.07 seconds of each other adds a sync bonus.
Won't a slow connection throw off the beat?
Each tap is judged by when you pressed it on your own phone, and the server only checks that the moment makes sense. So the beat still lines up on a slightly slow connection.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Games start right in your web browser. Just open the same address on a phone, tablet or PC.
Can I try a game on my own?
Every game has Try solo. A bot plays with you, so you can practice while you wait for your partner.
How do we play together?
Each of you opens DOOLPOP on your own device. Create a party on the game's page and send your partner the invite link or code.
